Introduction to the fundamental differences between coaching and mentoring for a clear understanding of each approach's unique purpose and application in professional development
Explore the essential components of a professional coaching plan, providing a structured framework for setting objectives, outlining strategies, and ensuring a coherent coaching journey
Learn about widely recognised coaching models, such as GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) and OSKAR (Outcome, Situation, Kinesthetic, Action, Review), to facilitate powerful and structured coaching conversations
Afternoon Session
Learn to effectively utilise goal-setting models like SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) and WOOP (Wish, Outcome, Obstacle, Plan) to help coachees define clear, inspiring, and actionable objectives
Discover best practices for providing constructive feedback during coaching sessions, fostering growth and encouraging self-correction in a supportive environment
Explore various feedback models, including the "Hamburger method" and the DESC (Describe, Express, Specify, Consequence) method to deliver feedback effectively and empathetically
Understand critical strategies for monitoring progression after coaching sessions, ensuring accountability and celebrating achievements to sustain momentum and long-term development

- Aged 21 and above
- Have basic computer literacy Level 2
- Have minimum GCE “N”, “O” or “A” Level / NITEC or a diploma qualification and minimum 2 years of working experience; and
- Have an English language proficiency equivalent of higher of any of the following – GCSE N/O Levels pass in English / WPLN Level 5 / IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL (internet based total) 46-59
