Mark is a seasoned veteran with over 20 years of extensive experience in Hospitality, Tourism, and MICE. His career includes successfully starting up a travel agency, managing an eco-resort in Malaysia and co-creating mass participation events in Singapore and Asia.
Mark’s entrepreneurial experience has cultivated his interest in enterprise risks and data protection, leading him to pursue professional certifications like the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Risk Management Practitioner (CRMP). Mark frequently speaks at seminars and conferences and is the creative mind behind the game Data Heist, an innovative game designed to educate individuals on cyber hygiene and data protection principles.
He believes that everyone can be empowered by lifelong learning to level up their career prospects. At FirstCom Academy, Mark facilitates learning for adult learners of all backgrounds on topics related to cyber security, digital marketing, and enterprise leadership skills.
