With over three decades of experience in the dynamic realm of the media industry, EK had successfully led a talented team of 10 lighting designers in Mediacorp. Throughout his career, he had played a pivotal role in illuminating diverse TV productions across genres, honing his expertise in crafting visually compelling narratives. His works include the annual Star Awards Show and the National Day Rally.

As an ACTA-certified trainer since 2012, he is deeply passionate about imparting his extensive knowledge and skills in lighting to aspiring photographers and videographers. A fervent advocate of lifelong learning, he graduated with a BSc Digital Media in 2022. He was conferred SkillsFuture Fellowship 2023, being recognised for his commitment in lifelong learning and his passion to inspire others to do the same.
