James’s adaptability and innovative mindset were particularly evident during the Covid-19 pandemic, where he earned the Ministry of Manpower’s Exemplary Award for Innovation. This accolade recognised his development of a digital tool for Covid-19 vaccination guidance, which significantly benefitted stakeholders and enhanced migrant workers’ well-being.

James also served as an Adult Trainer at Solidum Solution P/L for the People’s Association from March 2017 to May 2018, supporting the Senior Academy’s “Seniors for Smart Nation” certification program to help seniors navigate technological challenges.

As a Business Development Director in a SME, James led a transformation in financial education, implementing training programs that doubled sales within two months and increased sales volume fourfold in six months.
