Evelyn Yeo

Evelyn is a passionate, inspiring and effectively bilingual Adult Educator. She spent more than 3 decades providing training and consultancy services in service industry, particularly retail in Singapore and also internationally, namely, Canada, China, Hongkong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan. In the first decade of her training career, she designed and developed more than twenty in-house training programmes and  delivered more than two thousand runs of training programmes pertaining to Customer Service, Retail Selling Techniques and People Management.  

As a well sought after freelance training consultant, she has been actively involved with Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) training programmes under Retail, Service Excellence and Leadership and People Management framework. Handpicked by renowned retail establishments as a Training Consultant, she  developed training plans, designed, delivered courseware and evaluated training effectiveness. The holistic training approach has made Novena Holdings Limited to be the first furniture retailer to achieve People Developer Standard (PDS) Award in 2006. 

Evelyn views training as a meaningful and rewarding career. She received the Top 10 Associate Trainer Award from Singapore Institute of Retail Studies (SIRS) in 2013. As an Associate trainer with Firstcom Academy, Evelyn continues to impart relevant knowledge and skills to empower participants to stay abreast of the most current job requirements.
