FirstCom Academy capped off the wonderful National Day weekend with the screening of the latest blockbuster, “Deadpool & Wolverine”, on 11 August 2024 at Shaw Theatres Lido. This event brought together over 900 attendees that consisted of our alumni, participants of the Upskilling100 voting contest, and winners of our National Day giveaway contest. Everyone was eager to catch the thrilling feature of the movie!

As attendees began streaming into the cinema, they were welcomed with a seamless registration process where they collected their movie tickets and were treated to a delightful buffet catering of refreshments. No movie experience would be complete without some snacks, so we prepared a complimentary popcorn and coke combo for attendees, ensuring they were ready to fully immerse themselves in the action-packed film.

In addition, our team set up a dynamic display of fabrication and banners which provided attendees with insights of upskilling courses available and the benefits of upskilling. Our team of dedicated Education Consultants were also on-site to engage with the attendees, highlighting the importance of continuous upskilling. We also had a section which featured a selected few of our Upskilling100 alumni. The testimonials of their success were presented for all as they demonstrated the positive outcomes of what upskilling can do for your careers. This segment reinforced FirstCom Academy’s commitment to lifelong learning, and also made the event more meaningful for everyone present.
